Single-IP Failover

Failover that works so well, you won’t notice it.

One IP address. Two connections. Zero interruption. Your calls stay up, your sessions stay active and your public IPs never change.

What you need

One IP address. Two connections. Zero interruption.

I want seamless continuity.

Your connection switches to backup automatically without dropping calls or changing your IP. Your users never know.

I need peace of mind.

Continuous monitoring detects any interruption instantly and your system responds faster than you could.

I demand reliability.

No manual intervention, no configuration headaches — just intelligent redundancy built to protect your business.

How it works

Fusion infrastructure could fail completely — and you’d stay online.

Fusion installs its own fiber, then contracts a third-party carrier outside our network for the backup path. An IPSec tunnel carries your traffic to Fusion over the backup, so every service keeps working.

Fully automated

Automatic failover to the backup circuit with low failover time — seamless to end users and fully managed by Fusion.

Encrypted tunneling

An IPSec VPN tunnel encrypts traffic to Fusion over the backup circuit, so all services keep functioning.

Public IP routing

Your public IPs stay reachable from the internet, and POTS, PRIs and voice services stay up.

Built-in network redundancy

Dual-carrier network, one hand-off.

Fusion delivers a dedicated fiber service and a diverse, third-party backup circuit to a Fusion-managed router at your site. You get a single hand-off to your firewall — and an internet connection that stays up even if Fusion’s own infrastructure fails.

  • No single point of failure — without the cost and complexity of managing multiple carriers yourself.
  • Transparent failover between carriers using BGP; your public IPs stay reachable.
  • Three standard service levels to fit your technical and financial requirements.

Automatic. Invisible. Essential. Because your business demands it.

Carrier choice

Enterprise fiber, coax and wireless — optimized per site.

Which carriers are supported?

We partner with leading local and regional carriers for fiber, coax and wireless. You choose the combination that fits your network and budget.

Can I mix carrier types?

Yes — for example, fiber primary with wireless backup, or any combination that works for your site.

What if my preferred carrier isn’t available?

We have relationships with multiple carriers in most regions and will present alternatives that meet your requirements.

Redundancy

Dual connections. Always operational.

How does one IP work across two connections?

Intelligent routing presents a single IP address to your network, even though traffic can flow across two separate connections behind the scenes.

Do both connections run at full capacity?

Yes. Both are active and load-balanced; if one fails, the other picks up the full load.

Is it more expensive than a single connection?

It costs less than maintaining two separate circuits with different IP addresses — without the complexity.

Automatic failover

Instant backup. Zero manual work.

How fast is failover?

Traffic reroutes to the backup in milliseconds when an interruption is detected.

Do I need to do anything?

No. Calls continue, sessions stay active and your IP doesn’t change — you may not even know it happened.

What happens when the primary comes back?

Traffic transitions back gradually while full redundancy is maintained. No downtime, no manual work.

24/7 monitoring

Always monitoring. Always available.

What does monitoring include?

Connection quality, latency, packet loss and any sign of trouble — we alert you and start troubleshooting immediately.

How do I reach support?

24/7 by phone, email or the NOC portal. The engineers who built the system are the ones who support it.
